“MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH FRENCH POLYNESIA WAS ABOARD A STUNNING SAILBOAT, AN INCREDIBLY PRIVILEGED WAY OF DISCOVERING THIS PARADISE…”

“ … I was dazzled by the incredibly unspoiled nature. The remoteness of these islands from the rest of the world immediately gave me a feeling of freedom and extraordinary lightness.“

— Christophe Robin

French Polynesia view

“A maritime territory, as vast as Europe; Polynesia, through its islands and atolls, offers us an incredible diversity...

... I love the genuine kindness of the people who live in harmony with nature. From the Leeward Islands to the Marquesas, via the Gambiers, we discover remarkable craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation. Luckily, thanks to their remoteness, these islands are still so preserved, ideal for those who love to journey off the beaten track. Unpretentious, we go back to basics, in the heart of nature that overflows with richness and mana (energy) that does not leave you indifferent. Fascinated, dazzled and so moved by what I had already been able to discover and feel on my first trip, I only dreamed of going back and one day owning a boat myself. My dream has come true and it will soon be able to make yours come true with the arrival of Ginette.

A 70-foot (21-meter) catamaran, 3,000 sqft of living space, with its 4 cabins that can accommodate 8 people and 4 crew members, exemplary seamanship for absolute comfort onboard, available for charter.

They have sailed with ginette…

  • "MY CLIENT WAS OVER THE MOON WITH THE CHARTER."

The captain and crew were fantastic, always ready to please and they worked their socks off to offer a memorable experience.

My client is very experienced, especially on larger yacht with his parents and GINETTE left him stunned. Boat quality and finish was remarkable.

  • "GINETTE FELT LIKE A 5-STAR HOTEL ON THE WATER. "

Everything is so new and so well maintained. The Ginette has so many spaces (and shaded spaces) to enjoy the view from. We loved enjoying our meals outside on the back of the catamaran on most days. We enjoyed cruising on the top level where the captain steers from depending where the sun was coming from. In the morning some days the kids were playing cards on the front side of the catamaran. There is nice seating there and a coffee table sized table. We sometimes ate inside across from the kitchen if outside was too hot/sunny or rainy. We watched movies inside as the tv screen rises up from the counter. Ginette had internet and at most mooring spots there was cellular reception. The tender was great too. Lots of power! The whole catamaran was nicely decorated. Cabins were beautiful!

Crew - Everyone was so welcoming (All spoke English fluently and I think all spoke French as well). Always there and willing to help out with anything. Everyone was well mannered and they all worked together well.

Tom (captain) - Great job steering the ship! He made plans for us on land and let us know the day's itinerary. He would sometimes join us at snorkel spots/tours/walks on the beach. He is a kite surfer! We did not end up doing any other activities besides snorkeling, but he has a lot of experience doing those things.

Tania (chef) - Wow!!! This felt like a 5-star restaurant as well! We had the most amazing breakfast, lunch and dinners. The table was always made up nicely and besides all the food and sauces being tasty/great she took great care with the presentation of the dish. She put out various snacks mid morning/mid afternoon. Baked a bunch of bread/cookies/crusts etc. We were never hungry! and she was always in the kitchen the whole time it seemed. She worked hard and always friendly and willing to help accommodate any request.

Arthur - He got our gear ready and rinsed it off after our excursions. Drove us in the tender a lot and sometimes joined us snorkeling. He also is a kite surfer and knows about those recreational activities first hand. He drove me to the hospital in the tender. Translated for us at the hospital (I had fallen on a hike and dislocated my shoulder). He also helps out around the catamaran with Tom raising/lowering canvas sun/wind/rain screens as well as helping with whatever request we had - making drinks, moving luggage, waiting the table, etc..

Mahana- She is French Polynesian and so pleasant to visit with as well. Besides helping out with the kitchen duties and waiting our table, she was also making up our rooms (multiple times throughout the day!) the rooms and catamaran always looked great! She would even do laundry if you left some in the basket and always happy to share experiences of Polynesian life.

    We had a wonderful week!

    Thanks again,

    Jena and Brad
